Our Story- From Our Lens to Your Walls
Hi, I'm Maggie, founder of Nequaro.
By day, I work as a Biomedical Scientist in the NHS. In my free time, you'll usually find me exploring Cornwall with my two golden retrievers by my side.
I've always believed that the spaces we live in can affect how we feel. For me, home is a place to feel safe, calm but also inspired.
Living in Cornwall has given me endless inspiration. I love the coastline, sunsets and landscapes, but I'm equally drawn to the smaller details that many people walk past without noticing. The textures of tree bark, the patterns in seashells, weathered rocks and wildflowers often inspire my
designs just as much as the big scenic views.
Over the years, my family and I built up a collection of photographs. I wanted to turn them into something special that I could share with other people and help create homes that feel special and unique.
And that's how Newquaro began.
From Cornwall, Into Your Home
Every mural and pattern starts with something we have personally photographed or discovered while exploring Cornwall. Some designs are inspired by dramatic coastal views, while others come from the textures, colours and details found in nature.
My goal is simple: to create beautiful wall coverings that help transform a room and bring a sense of nature, space and character into your home.
Supporting Artists, Sharing Creativity
Nequaro is not just about Cornwall, nature and photography.
Throughout my life I've been surrounded by creative people.
Friends and family members who painted, drew, created beautiful things, and poured their hearts into their work. What struck me was how often they doubted themselves. So many talented people convinced themselves that their art wasn't good enough, interesting enough, or worthy of being seen by others.
I always felt that was a shame.
To me, art doesn't belong hidden away in spare rooms, sketchbooks, folders, or under beds. Beautiful things deserve to be seen, enjoyed and shared.
That's the idea behind Newquaro.
Alongside my own work, Newquaro includes an Artist Collaboration collection. This is a space dedicated to helping talented unknown
artists share their work with a wider audience. Original artworks are
professionally reproduced as limited-edition canvas prints, with each design limited to just 50 pieces. The artists receive a commission from every sale, ensuring they continue to benefit from their creativity and talent.

Every Nequaro piece is produced with the same focus on quality, from the materials we choose to the way each finished piece is prepared.
Our designs are printed using HP Latex technology with water based inks, onto carefully selected premium materials. Canvas prints are individually stretched and finished by hand, creating pieces designed not simply to decorate a space, but to become part of it.
